Speak
Speak, and it types. In almost any app.
Speak adds a small microphone next to the text field you are typing in, whether in WhatsApp, Gmail, a browser or anything else. Tap it, say what you want to write, tap again, and your words appear where your cursor is. Your keyboard stays exactly as it is.

Architecture
On-device, works offline
Private by design
Speech is turned into text on the phone itself. No audio or text is sent anywhere, and there is no account, no ads and no tracking.
Once it is set up, Speak works offline — which is the practical proof of the privacy claim rather than a promise about what happens on a server.
How it works
Choose a voice model. Speak recommends one for your phone, or you can test them all on the device and compare speed and accuracy for yourself.
Turn Speak on. It asks for permission once, and explains exactly what it can and cannot see.
Then talk. The microphone appears next to whatever field you are typing in, and the text lands at your cursor.
Capabilities
What it does
Keeps your keyboard
Works alongside Gboard, Samsung Keyboard, SwiftKey and others rather than replacing them.
Many languages
Tuned for Portuguese (Portugal) and English; also understands Spanish, French, German and many other languages.
Punctuation included
Punctuation and capital letters are added automatically, so dictated text does not need tidying up.
Visible when listening
A notification whenever it is listening, and a progress ring while it writes — you always know its state.
Per-app control
Hide it in specific apps, or pause it everywhere with one switch.
Never reads passwords
Password fields are off limits, by design.
